Frequently
Asked Questions
Below you will find common questions pertaining to our programs. If you have specific questions or would like more clarification on any of the below topics please contact us.

Does insurance cover these programs?
We do not accept insurance, however, many people are able to use FSA/HSA accounts to cover the cost of our programs. We also offer sliding scale payment options for our private Evolution Program. Please contact us for more details.
Will I get to ride the horses?
Our equine-facilitated learning and wellness programs are focused specifically on working with the horses from the ground. This approach offers a unique and intimate connection with our horses as you become a part of the herd. In addition, because our horses come from rescues/retirement farms, their history and/or current medical conditions do not make them suitable for riding (but they sure are great for loving!). If you are interested in finding a riding program, we are happy to offer referrals based on your personal goals.
What ages can participate in these programs?
Due to the nature of the work, our private equine-facilitated learning sessions are restricted to ages 12 and up.
What do I wear to the farm?
Because we are working outdoors, it is important to wear weather appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Closed toe shoes are also required. Boots are preferred. If you have any questions about appropriate attire please feel free to ask.
